Saturday, March 20, 2010

New Great Location, New Great Walk.  The Tucson Epilepsy Walk has moved to the University of Arizona Mall in March of 2010.  The walk is a pledge-driven, non-competitive, event engaging people affected by epilepsy and their friends and families.

This annual fundraising walk not only raises money to support the programs and services of the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona, but also serves to increase epilepsy awareness throughout the general population and is a wonderful way to spend the day with your family.

The goal for the 2010 Walk is to raise $75,000 to continue the important and vital work of the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona.  Teams are the heart of what makes the Epilepsy Walk so successful.  Corporations, families, organizations, and school groups build teams to show their support for the epilepsy community.

The Team Captain’s job is to motivate and encourage others to join your team.  Once the team is in place, the Team Captain then acts as the key liaison between their team and the Foundation.  Click here for the Team Captain Kit.
