Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey

What's it all about? This forum will increase public knowledge and community awareness about issues facing women with epilepsy. Women with epilepsy, their friends and families, and epilepsy professionals will engage in a day of discussing key issues such as parenting, mood disorders and depression, pregnancy, AEDs and more.

Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Cincinnati

Where: Marriott Kingsgate Conference Hotel, Cincinnati, OH
What's it all about? This forum is entitled: Women & Epilepsy: You're Special. Your Necessities Are Unique. The one-day forum will strive to dispel myths, increase public knowledge and create positive images for women with epilepsy.

What's it all about? This forum is intended to Empower, Encourage, Create Positive Role Models and Increase Awareness.

Empower women with epilepsy to effectively manage their medical conditions.
Encourage women with epilepsy to speak out.

Increase Awareness within the general public about women & epilepsy issues.

Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York

When: Saturday, November 4th
Where: Best Western Inn and Conference Center, Poughkeepsie, NY
What's it all about? This forum will target women with epilepsy between the ages of 16 and 65 years of age, parents of teenage children with epilepsy, and healthcare providers. The forum will address the special health care needs of women with epilepsy, focusing on the topics of hormones, pregnancy, puberty, menopause, AED's, and quality of life.

Epilepsy Foundation of Northwest

When: Saturday, November 4 th

Where: University of Washington Medical Center
What's it all about? The forum will consist of sessions lead by local medical, legal and governmental experts and successful professional woman with epilepsy, and it is for women with epilepsy, their families, as well as health care professionals from Oregon and Washington.  An interpreter will be on site all day to provide translation. Travel assistance is available.

Epilepsy Foundation of the St. Louis Region

When: Saturday, November 18th
Where: Southeast Missouri Hospital, Cape Girardeau, MO
What's it all about? The Epilepsy Foundation of the St. Louis Region and the Epilepsy Foundation of Southwestern Illinois have joined together to provide women with epilepsy and their families living in the rural areas of Missouri and Illinois an opportunity to gather for a day of learning and sharing. Participants will gain an understanding of epilepsy by sharing personal experiences, hearing success stories from other women with epilepsy, and attending discussions and sessions led by Epilepsy professionals.

Epilepsy Foundation of South Florida

What's it all about? This forum will be a day of sharing, caring and bonding; while raising awareness about the issues that women and their families encounter when faced with a seizure disorder. The forum's goal is to engage in a day of lively discussions and information sharing between women with epilepsy, their families, health care professionals, teachers and counselors.
