For merit award winner, Jody Winter, the fear of having a seizure left her a prisoner in her home. After experiencing humiliating public seizures, Jody began to isolate herself from activities with her family.

She was on the verge of giving up until she rediscovered the passion to live again. With her renewed self-confidence, Jody started her own company, "Girls Fun Adventures," where she organizes mystery weekend getaways for women of all ages and backgrounds. The tours provide Jody an opportunity to teach others about her condition while enjoying the journey.
