ADA Anniversary Message from President and CEO Eric Hargis

On the 17th Anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Congressional leadership has introduced new bills designed to restore the original intent of the ADA. As written, the ADA should have been one of the most important pieces of legislation for the disabilities community. However, judiciary decisions over the last 17 years have watered down the scope of protections.
