Elkanah is a charming, determined girl with a compelling story. She enjoys telling her classmates about her conditon. She hopes that educating her peers will prevent them from teasing other children with similar conditions.

To control her seizures, Elkanah opted for brain surgery. Today, she makes great strides to be treated like a normal child. Elkanah is eager to participate in Kids Speak Up! and lend her voice on behalf of other children with epilepsy.
