Kayla Brown

Age: 11

Hometown: Hampton, Virginia

Kayla Brown is a well-rounded and delightful eleven year old young lady. She's won many honors for her soccer, bowling and academic achievements. Kayla also enjoys playing the piano, singing in her church choir and participating in activities with her Girl Scout troop.

Before her first birthday, she suffered her first febrile seizure and since then has been diagnosed with petite mal seizures.

Her condition is controlled by anti-epilepsy drugs that have not hindered her outgoing personality, and great sense of humor.

Kayla wants everyone to know that even though she has epilepsy, it doesn't have her.
