"THE VISION"

(IN HONOR OF EPILEPSY)

When I was informed that Epilepsy had developed in me

I started to think about everything not once, but twice

How was I going to be accepted by others who would discover this

The original thoughts that crossed my mind never seemed very nice

The fact was that I knew very little about this medical condition

Also I was aware that there would be many that would not understand

Now that I had gone through this "Unplanned Change" in life

Would people make my future less of a struggle or more of a fight?

Well I decided that I would look at this change as a "Challenge"

You see a challenge is something in life that all people will have to face

In the world there are so many people who have some sort of medical condition

Still these individuals are happy and successful, but only through God's Grace!

Epilepsy is not a curse, as some people may feel

It is just a situation that can happen to anyone that is living

The fact of the matter is this, "God does not make mistakes"

With this thought, I have decided to continue on with the life I have been given.

You see there is nothing that can stop me from living a normal life

I can be just as successful as anyone who makes the decision

The one thing that can be the difference in all of this is very simple

I must keep my eyes focused on God, for He is the One who has "The Vision"!
