Women with Epilepsy

Women with epilepsy often have special needs. Concerns about seizures and the menstrual cycle, pregnancy and antiepileptic drugs, hormones and the onset of epilepsy: these are just a few of the issues facing women with epilepsy.

Sometimes it's easier to discuss personal issues with those who may be experiencing similar feelings. This interest group is just for women.

Meet and interact with others in the chat room or take the opportunity to pose questions and have longer-term conversations in the discussion forum -- a message board where people can read and respond 24 hours a day.

This eCommunities interest group is part of the Epilepsy Foundation's Women and Epilepsy Initiative, sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline.
