Hollywood Heroes Highlight Epilepsy Awareness

National Walk Chair Greg Grunberg and the Cast of 'Heroes' Talk about Epilepsy at Lamborghini Grand Opening Celebration

NOVEMBER 14, 2007 -- Many of television’s 'Heroes' came out to join Greg Grunberg, co-star of the hit NBC series, in a celebration to help raise awareness about epilepsy and to support the Epilepsy Foundation. The event – held at the largest Lamborghini dealership in the world in Calabasas, California – began with a ‘race to the cure’ as five celebrity-driven Lamborghinis sped through the streets of Los Angeles and continued 20 miles up U.S. Route 101 to Lamborghini Calabasas.

Grunberg has a son with epilepsy, and has been a huge supporter of epilepsy education, awareness and fundraising in Los Angeles and nationwide. He is the Chair of the National Walk for Epilepsy, to be held in Washington D.C. on March 29, 2008.

"Heroes" co-stars Kristen Bell, Jack Coleman, Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia joined Grunberg at Lamborghini Calabasas for a night under the stars attended by Hollywood celebrities and executives. The event was featured on ‘E! Entertainment television’ and ‘Extra!’ and highlighted in local, national, and international newspapers and magazines.

After pulling up in a Lamborghini for the event, Grunberg told the gathered media, “I am going to race fast – faster than I just did – to help find a cure for epilepsy.”
