Golfer's Gauntlet
The Golfer's Gauntlet is a one-of-a-kind tournament that will test your skills with different challenges throughout the course. Additionally, the area's finest golf pros will instruct you on techniques necessary to master each golf skill's challenge. Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Legions Park. Registration from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with refreshments, warm up and kickoff at 10:15 a.m. Door prizes and awards ceremony immediately following the walk. Louisville Walk Around Kentucky Heather Macy Memorial Walk Location: Louisville Zoo What: A 5K WALK to support the programs and services of the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana. Heather Macy died unexpectedly in January of 2003 from SUDEP (sudden unexplained death from epilepsy). Heather raised over $1,500 for the 2003 EpilepsyWALK, coming in second place behind veteran fundraiser Micah Chandler. Free admission into the zoo with $25 in sponsorships. The Golfer's Gauntlet is a unique event patterned after the Golf Channel's widely popular show, The Big Break. This event will challenge those golfers who are looking for something different from the "usual" golf scramble event.
