The 'Know the Difference' campaign
is an initiative to raise awareness of epilepsy in the African-American community. Epilepsy is a medical condition that produces seizures. It’s also called a seizure disorder.

The know the difference site is a valuable resource to help you get the facts and to dispel the myths that plague the community.

My name is Denise Pease and I am the chair of the Know the Difference campaign — an initiative to raise awareness of epilepsy in the African-American community. I live every day with the challenge of having epilepsy.
