First 'National Walk for Epilepsy' A Big SuccessThe first-ever 'National Walk for Epilepsy' brought more than 5,000 people to the National Mall and raised one million dollars to help build awareness of epilepsy, eliminate stigma attached to this condition, and raise much needed funds for research toward finding a cure. Greg Grunberg and 'Heroes' Help People with EpilepsyPlus, Walk Chair Greg Grunberg's show created a special opportunity for "Heroes" fans to bid on autographed collector's edition artwork while supporting the millions of people with epilepsy and their families. Thanks to Mr. Grunberg, NBC, and the cast and crew of "Heroes,' the art auction raised more than $50,000 toward epilepsy awareness and research. |
