Brief description of camp: 2009 was an exciting year at Camp ASCCA. Opened in 1976, located on Lake Martin off Highway 280 between Dadeville and Alexander City, Camp ASCCA is the worlds largest year round, barrier free camp for people with disabilities. Camp Evoked Potential @ Camp ASCCA is for children and teenagers, ages 6-18, with epilepsy. It's a great opportunity for kids to experience the fun of camp activities-swimming, fishing, sports, hiking and more-all to be designed to be accessible and adapted to campers' individual needs and abilities, all in a safe, medically monitored setting.
