The Epilepsy Foundation Metropolitan Washington’s 2008 Epilepsy Awareness School Poster Contest has drawn to a close. The winning poster (above) was created by Symmone Hunter, a 3rd grade student at Amidon Elementary School in the District, where John Goudeaux is Principal.  We also wish to acknowledge and extend our appreciation to Carol Crosby, Special Education Teacher, for promoting and supporting our contest at Amidon Elementary School. The Contest's essay winner is Alena Sydnor, 10th grade student at Cesar Chavez Public School for Public Policy. Click here to download the entire essay.
