Outdoor Epilepsy Awareness Campaign Begins

EFMW Outdoor Montage 

On June 2nd, the Epilepsy Foundation Metropolitan Washington launched an aggressive outdoor poster advertisement campaign designed to increase epilepsy awareness in Washington, D.C. An epilepsy message will appear on metro transit shelters and poster boards throughout Washington, D.C. on a staggering basis throughout the summer. The campaign is expected to reach about 2/3 of the 700,000 residents of Washington, D.C., as well as multiple hundreds of thousands of tourists and others from Maryland and Virginia who spend time in the city. 

The campaign will appear at the following locations:

  • Westbound on Florida Avenue at 5th Street, NE
  • Westbound on Massachusetts Avenue at New Jersey Avenue, NW
  • Southbound on Wisconsin Avenue at River Road, NW
  • Westbound on K Street at 21st Street, NW
  • New Jersey and P Street, NW
  • M Street and New Jersey Avenue, SE
  • Northbound on North Capitol Street at H Street, NE
  • Brentwood Road and V Street, NE
  • Northbound 7th Street at Indiana Avenue, NW
  • Northbound North Capitol Street at Florida Avenue, NE
  • Westbound Rhode Island Avenue at Capitol Street, NW
