Volunteer Jobs

We invite you to take an active role in promoting Epilepsy Awareness. Many of our activities, events and programs would not be possible without the assistance of volunteers like you.

Listed below are just a few volunteer opportunities available. Please e-mail us for a volunteer application or for more information: efaz@chw.edu.

  • H.O.P.E. Mentor

Can you speak to an audience? We are looking for adults with epilepsy, and parent/family members of a person with epilepsy to educate school personnel, newly diagnosed and the general public on epilepsy, what it is, first aid and advocacy.

We provide the training and set up the talks. The program is scripted so all you have to do is learn the script. The talks vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the audience. If you speak well and can answer questions, we could use you.

  • Walk for Epilepsy

Sponsor the Annual Arizona Epilepsy Walk, be a Team Captain, Walk and fund raise or volunteer your time to the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona.  Conact the foundation at 602-406-3581 to find out how you can help.

  • Health Fairs

Want to meet new people and get involved in your community? We are looking for volunteers to man epilepsy information tables at various health fairs in your community. We would provide you with information and displays, and assign you to areas close to your home.

Most health fairs run between 3 to 6 hours each. The fairs come sporadically throughout the year.

  • Donate while you Shop

Every time you shop at any participating store, including Safeway, Albertsons and more, a percentage of your purchase can be rebated back - automatically - to help support the programs and services of the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona. These funds really make a difference in helping to fund the many programs and services of the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona.
