Creating Avenues for Parent PartnershipAn Educational training program for parents of children with epilepsy.Creating Avenues for Parent Partnership (CAPP), a new National Institutes of Health-funded educational project sponsored by EFGC and the Indiana University School of Nursing, has been designed to help parents of children with epilepsy who also have significant learning problems. Through the CAPP program, participants will use interactive education methods to learn about their child's epilepsy and learning disabilities from healthcare professionals, while also having the chance to share their experiences with other parents who are in similar circumstances.
