Services

Training Seminars

Training seminars may be scheduled year-round for individuals or groups of any size.

In-service Certification Programs

Training for teachers, school nurses, school social workers and bus drivers is available at area educational facilities and health fairs. Class presentations for students are also available, as is training for police, paramedic, social worker, and medical personnel. Contact Tracy Schultz or call (312) 939-8622 for more information.

Individual/Family Education

You and your family are welcome to meet with a licensed professional to better understand your condition. In-home visits and services in Spanish are available upon request. To schedule an appointment, please send an email to info@epilepsychicago.org or call us at (312) 939-8622.

Brian S. Hall Library

Conduct research utilizing the Epilepsy Foundation's extensive materials: browse on-site, borrow materials through the mail, or purchase materials through the National Office's online catalog. We even have a children's section! For more information, send us an e-mail, or call us at (312) 939-8622.

Informational Packets and Materials

H.O.P.E. Mentors

Trained volunteers -- people with epilepsy -- are available to present to your community group. To request a mentor to present to your group or to apply to become a mentor, contact Linda Brinker, or call (312) 939-8622.
