Local Companies Give Generously at Community Care Day

Beginning in August and ending in October, four local companies have shared their time, talents and resources to benefit some of the individuals we serve. Employees from ITW Air Management – Paxton, Midland Company, Fifth-Third Bank and Ethicon Endo-Surgery gave up a day at work to perform needed tasks around our properties. Volunteers painted the interior of two of our group homes, landscaped the property, built a chicken coop, poured a paved patio, built an aviary for doves, installed a fountain, graveled a driveway and parking lot, cleared trails and much more. When all was said and done, over 90 individuals gave over 700 hours of service that saved the agency over $10,000.00!! And best of all, the projects have enhanced our programs, helping us to better serve the community.

What a difference people can make when they come together and unite their efforts. Thanks for sharing with those we serve.
