H.O.P.E. Mentoring Program

Do you have epilepsy? Does a close friend or family member have epilepsy? Ever wonder how you can share your personal story with others. Now you can.  The Epilepsy Foundation along with UCBPharma have created a program called The H.O.P.E (Helping Other People with Epilepsy) Mentoring Program.

Knowledge is power and you have the power to educate others about epilepsy.  H.O.P.E Mentors are trained volunteers to educate groups of people about epilepsy.

Here's what you do:

  • Call EFCT at 800-899-3745 to let her know you are interested in being a H.O.P.E. Mentor or just complete the application and return it to EFCT.
  • Participate in the two (2) day training
  • Share your personal story along with epilepsy education at least 3 groups of people in one year.

That's all you have to do. The time commitment is minimal. You will be called upon when a request for an educational program is made in your area. Contact EFCT if you are interested in becoming a H.O.P.E. Mentor.
