CAP PROGRAM
(Camper Assistant Program) - NEW 2009
The CAP offers campers ages 15 - 19 educational and leadership opportunities. CAP participants will be selected by EFCT's Camp Advisory Committee. There is an additional application for that will be sent to you after applying for camp. Please check "YES" on the application form if you're interested. Kids with epilepsy deserve the same experience that other kids have - - enjoying a week at summer camp! Started in 1998, Epilepsy Foundation of CT's Summer Camp for Children with Epilepsy was the first ever camp in New England designed specifically for kids with epilepsy.
The camp is held at Easter Seals Camp Hemlocks in Hebron, Connecticut, and is now open to kids and teens with epilepsy ages 8 - 21.
Their agenda included: Pool, Arts, Nature, Boating, Fishing, Sports, Face Painting, Karaoke, Dance, Climbing Wall, Movie Night, and Talent show!!!!
Thank you to all the counselors and staff that go out of there way to make this an enjoyable and memorable week for all the kids!!!!!
