ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The S.E.E. 2008 Regional Epilepsy Conference is designed to provide the opportunity for persons affected by epilepsy to receive current information about epilepsy and seizures, medical treatment therapies, and day to day issues associated with epilepsy. This program offers up to 6.75 contact hours for nurses & social workers.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The 2008 S.E.E. 2008 Regional Epilepsy Conference has been tailored to meet the needs of EVERYONE affected by epilepsy in the Panhandle area of West Texas. Physicians, nurses, teachers, social workers, counselors, persons with epilepsy, and family members of persons with epilepsy will all benefit from this enlightening and educational event. Attendees will find answers, gain solutions, and meet others affected by epilepsy.

CONFERENCE FEES

The fee to attend the conference is very nominal. For consumers (persons affected by epilepsy, family, friends, etc) the fee to attend the conference is $10.00 per person and includes continental breakfast, snacks & lunch. For medical & social service professionals receiving Continuing Education Credit the fee is $50.00 person and includes 6.75 contact hours, as well as all meals & snacks.

CONFERENCE LOCATION

The 2008 S.E.E. Regional Epilepsy Conference will be held in Lubbock, TX @ the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center 1501 Mac Davis Lane.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, School of Nursing is an approved provider of Continuing Nursing Education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, School of Nursing, is an approved provider of Social Work continuing education by the Texas State board of Social Worker Examiners.

This education program offers up to 6.75 contact hours for nurses & social workers.

FINANCIAL AID

The Epilepsy Foundation Central & South Texas is committed to educating families affected by epilepsy. There are several methods to register for the 2008 S.E.E. Regional Epilepsy Conference. You may register online, by phone, fax, or mail. Your registration is not complete until payment has been received.

If you wish to pay by credit card online you will be directed to the secure PayPal site. We will only receive payment amount and confirmation numbers from PayPal,credit card information is kept secured. If you do not wish to pay online, you may call us with your credit card information and we can process it over the phone.
