College Scholarship Winners

Congratulations to the following students for winning college scholarships:

Epilepsy Foundation 2008 College Scholarship:  Kara Turner

Kara is a 2008 graduate of Beekmantown Central School in West Chazy, NY.  She will be attending North Country Community College in the fall where she will pursue a career in nursing.

Lyle Reuben Fieser College Scholarships: 
Andrea Backus and Carson Oakes

Andrea is a 2008 graduate of South Glens Falls High School and began her college career this year at a local community college.  She will be attending the University of Vermont where she hopes to explore her interests in visual and performing arts, music and many sciences.

Carson graduated this year from Salmon River Central School in Hogansburg, NY.  He will be attending SUNY Canton where he has been accepted into the Pre-Dental Hygiene program...the first step in his goal to become a dentist.
