Confections In Chocolate ~ "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" A Success!

We are pleased to announce the 19th Annual Confections in Chocolate raised over $64,000!  Held on March 3rd at Wolferts Roost Country Club, this year's theme was "The Wizard of Oz."  Over 280 people attended, including the Mayor of Munchkin Land, Glenda the Good Witch, the Munchkin Land Coroner, Scarecrow, and the Wizard of Oz himself!  We hope all that attended had an enjoyable evening!  Thank you for your support of our organization! 

There was music, dancing, dining, silent and live auctions, and the highlight of the evening, the wonderful array of chocolate desserts donated by area pastry chefs and restaurants!  New this year, attendees had the opportunity to vote on their favorite theme dessert.  The winner was Queen of Tarts Pastry Shoppe located in Guilderland for their Wicked Witch chocolate cake.

Proceeds will be used to support the programs and services provided by our foundation in the twenty-two counties we serve.  If you were unable to attend this year, and would like to attend next year, please contact us with your mailing address so that you will receive an invitation for next year's event to be held on March 1,  2008 (save the date!).  Visit our photo gallery (located to the left of the page) to view more photos from Chocolate 2007!
