Sara's 3rd Annual Walk for Epilepsy

Sara's 3rd Annual Walk for Epilepsy was held on Saturday, May 3rd at SUNY New Paltz.  We are thrilled to announce that the walk was a BIG success!  Approximately 100 walkers attended and over $14,000 was raised (money is still coming in!)!!

The morning started out wet with a downpour, but that did not stop the volunteers from setting-up the tents, tables of information, the popcorn and cotton candy machines, food and water, giveaways to the walkers, etc.  Just before noon, when the walk was about to begin, the rain stopped and the walkers enjoyed a 2 mile walk around the beautiful SUNY New Paltz campus!

Thank you to all that participated - whether you walked, donated goods and services, lent a hand to help set-up or clean-up, or donated to the cause - we appreciate your support!

Special thanks and congratulations to Sara and her family on a job well done!  We look forward to Sara's 4th Annual Walk in 2009!
