2007 Magnolia Run

Nearly 700 runners and walkers took part in the 2007 Magnolia Run at Perimeter Mall. The event attracted a great crowd eager to warm up for the big July 4th race. We want to thank the many corporate sponsors and teams who assisted us in rasining more than $17,000 through the event.

We will be adding some race day photos to this site in the near future.

2007 Epilepsy Symposium

Nationally known epilepsy educator Robert Mittan, PhD will be the featured speaker at the 12th Annual Epilepsy Symposium. The 2007 program will take place on Saturday, November 3 at the Loudermilk Conference Center in downtown Atlanta.

Dr. Mittan developed the SEE (Seizures and Epilepsy Education) program, the most recognized epilepsy patient education program in the world. Winner of numerous awards, SEE is the only epilepsy seminar shown in a clinical study to result in long term improvements in the daily lives and self management of those who attend. The Symposium will investigate both the medical and psychological aspects of epilepsy. Topics will include the various types of seizures, seizure management , alternative therapies, school issues, employment and community/internet resources.
