  • Direct Care

    Work directly with the consumers as a Life Skills Specialist in one of our residential group homes or as a Habilitation Therapist in our Garden City Day Habilitation Program.  Direct care workers provide on-going guidance and support to our consumers in order to facilitate independence, individualization, community inclusion and productivity.  Requirements include a high-school diploma or GED and clean and valid NYS drivers license.  No experience necessary.  Enhanced hourly rates are available for applicants who are experienced and proficient with the OMRDD SCIP and AMAP curriculums.

 
  • Management

    Various management opportunities exist in our Residential and Day Habilitation Programs. Residential opportunities include Assistant Manager, Manager and Assistant Program Director positions.  Day Habilitation opportunities include Group Supervisor and Program Coordinator positions. Requirements include at least one year's experience working with the developmentally disabled population. Competitive enchanced start rates are available for individuals with prior management experience in the field.

 
  • QMRP (Qualified Mental Retardation Professional)

    QMRP positions are available in various locations.  QMRP's develop programming and coordinate consumer services across various clinical disciplines.  Flexible hours are ideal for applicants who wish to pursue higher education.  Requirements include a BA or BS in a relevant field.  No experience necessary.

 
  • LPN and RN

    LPN positions are available in various locations.  LPNs are responsible for working with direct care, clinical and management staff to facilitate daily medical care for our consumers.  Requirements include current licensure and registration with the NYS Department of Education and valid NYS driver's license.

     

    RN positions are available in various locations.  RNs provide clinical oversight to LPNs, staff training and consumer assessment.  Requirements include current licensure and registration with the NYS Department of Education and valid NYS driver's license.  Experience is preferred but not required.

 
  • ABSS (Applied Behavior Science Specialist)

    Various part-time and full-time opportunities are available.  ABSS staff assess our consumers and apply behavior modification principles to develop programming that is conducive to pro-social behavior.  Flexible hours are ideal for applicants interested in pursuing further education.  Requirements include a MS in Psychology
