A donation to the Epilepsy Foundation can make a critical difference in people's lives. Through your donation, you enable us to increase the quality of life for people with epilepsy through our many services. You allow us to educate people with epilepsy, their loved ones, and the public about the disorder. You empower us to be a vigorous advocate for people with epilepsy, focusing on affordable health care and the protection of civil rights. You even help us make progress toward a cure through our research efforts. There are many ways to support the Epilepsy Foundation. Thank you for helping us make a difference. There are several ways you can donate: Attend our Annual Dinner Dance Gala, on Friday, April 16, 2010 at Carlyle on the Green in Bethpage State Park. If you cannot attend, take out an Underwriting Sponsorship/Journal Ad for the event. For further information call (516) 739-7733 ext. 140. Attend "Jack Lang Day" at Citi Field on Saturday, September 19, 2009. The New York Mets have generously designated the day in memory of Jack Lang, a Hall of Fame sportswriter whose grandson Casey is affected by epilepsy. The Mets will be playing the Washington Nationals, game time is 1:10pm. Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island. Take out a sponsorship or purchase a Tee Sign for the 22nd Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, October 5, 2009 at the Cherry Valley Country Club in Garden City. To participate or for further details call (516) 739-7733 ext. 140. Pay tribute to a loved one through a memorial contribution or honor someone on a special occasion. Just call our office and charge your donation and a card will be sent in your name. Give to our Annual Appeal. You can mail in your donation or call and charge it. Remember the Epilepsy Foundation in your will or through a planned gift. Be a corporate sponsor at one of our fundraising events. *A gift to the Epilepsy Foundation in Landover, Maryland is used for national projects. Your gift to the Epilepsy Foundation of Long Island remains in our region and is used for local services.
