Epilepsy Foundation of Massachusetts & Rhode Island

Support Groups

The Epilepsy Foundation of Massachusetts and Rhode Island provides adults, ages 18 and over, and teens, ages 15 - 19, living with epilepsy an opportunity to share common experiences through a supportive group environment.  We also provide families the opportunity to share common experiences, network and support one another through Parent and Family Support Network (PFSN) Group gatherings.  We continue to strive to establish support and information groups throughout our region.

Discovering "My Epilepsy" is a support group for children, teens and their families. Their mission is to help each other understand all of the many life changes associated with Epilepsy.  Their goals are to partner positive teen role models with younger children, to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment, nurture new friendships, and create a support network for the siblings and parents of those with Epilepsy.  The children will learn about themselves and their diagnosis through creative activities in a small group setting for all ages.

This group is supported by The Matthew Siravo Memorial Foundation.
