New Patient Education Program for Epilepsy
Seizures and Epilepsy: Improve your Knowledge, Improve your Life
A new series of lectures that will provide an opportunity to learn more about seizures and epilepsy. By the end of the session, you will understand more about seizures and how to improve your life if you have had a seizure, seizure disorder, or epilepsy and how to get the best medical care by partnering with your physician. These will be offered three times a year at Boston area hospitals.
Future lectures in this series will be held several times per year at Boston area hospitals.

Walk for Epilepsy: Looking Forward to a Cure!
Thank you to the Quetti Family and their friends and supporters. Saturday was a great day and there were about 180 people who came to Farnam's Crossing to walk, talk, laugh and show their support for Jackie Quetti, a young woman living with epilepsy who has found her voice.

2 mile walk through campus of NH Technical Institute
October 4th turned dry in time for friends and families to walk the campus of New Hampshire Technical Institute for epilepsy awareness. Approximately 160 people gathered at the Delta Dental parking lot to meet one another, share a few laughs, a few tears in memory of Ashley Dawn Pouliot and to look around and see others affected by epilepsy. Thanks go out to the Crowell Family, Shane Pouliot, Sheila Plaisted and Pam Paulson Small for their help putting on this event.

Lend a Hand Horse Farm is one of Rhode Island's leading therapeutic riding facilities. The programs at Lend a Hand are designed to meet the needs of children and/or adults with physical, mental or social disabilities as well as those who are eager to learn about horse riding in a therapeutic environment.
They provide therapeutic riding in a safe, caring, natural farm environment, and treat all students with compassion and the necessary understanding to accomplish any given goal as a team.

Help us raise Epilepsy Awareness and bring the condition into the social dialogue. The red wristband comes in one size and reads "Epilepsy Foundation MA & RI" and "not another moment lost to seizures" along with a light yellow flame on opposing sides. Bracelets are $1 each.
