Epilepsy Library

Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan is pleased to provide the public with a wealth of information on epilepsy and associated issues through our Epilepsy Library. If the information you seek is not on the following list or if you have any questions about the information you receive, please call us at (800) 377-6226, and we will help you find what you're looking for. We also encourage you to make use of Epilepsy Foundation's National Epilepsy Library, which contains an extensive collection of scientific journal articles on epilepsy.

How to Access Library Resources

Our Epilepsy Library consists of books, videos, booklets, brochures, fact sheets, and other printed materials. Books and videos are available to borrow or they can be reviewed at our Southfield office. To borrow a book or video, we recommend that you call; however, you can also e-mail your request. Items marked “reference only” will not be sent out but can be viewed at our Southfield office. Items other than books and videos will be mailed to you and are yours to keep. If you require information in alternative formats (e.g. captioned, Spanish, large-print, electronic, etc.), please call, and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Please return books or videos either by UPS or Insured First Class Mail to Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan by the due date. If you do not notify the Foundation that an item will be returned late, you will be invoiced for the item's replacement cost. Most titles are readily available to borrow; however, there may be times when one is not. Please call ahead when a video or book is needed for a specific date. Keep in mind, there are limits as to how many materials can be sent at once. Please call for details.
