EF Announces 2008 Segar Scholarship Winners

Stephen A. Segar (left) congratulates this year's Segar Scholarship recipients: Andrew Duble of Fairport High School, who is enrolled at Northwestern University; Zachary Cuipylo of Union Springs High School, who is enrolled at LeMoyne University; and Mark Van Atta of Rush-Henrietta High School who is enrolled at SUNY Geneseo.  The three recipients, their families and other invited guests attended an awards luncheon on July 17, 2008 at the Country Club of Rochester.  For more information about EF's scholarship program, please click here.

Register for Camp EAGR today!  

Camp EAGR is a week-long residential summer camp for boys and girls, ages 8 to 15 who have epilepsy, regardless of seizure control. This year camp runs from August 17th through the 23rd. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit our Camp page for more details.

2008 Expressions of Courage Art Contest  

Now in its sixth year, the Expressions of Courage national art contest, sponsored by ORTHO-McNEIL NEUROLOGICS, a Division of Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc, in partnership with the Epilepsy Foundation, provides people with epilepsy the opportunity to showcase their talents and their perspectives of the world around them through art and share their experiences with others.  

The Epilepsy Foundation encourages people of all ages diagnosed with epilepsy to submit artwork for this year’s contest. The contest deadline has been extended to Friday, August 29, 2008.
