Event:  Genesee Valley Region Epilepsy Education Conference

Guest Speaker:  Stephen A. Segar, a prominent Rochester attorney, 
                       was diagnosed with epilepsy as an adult.  He will 
                       share his story and the challenges he has faced 
                       and overcome.

Who Should Attend: 

Individuals with epilepsy and their families as well as anyone affected by epilepsy and related disorders such as brain injury, stroke, and developmental disability. 
Service Providers: Physicians, nurses, service coordinators, teachers, counselors, social workers.

In addition to Steve and his inspiring story, the conference includes programs, workshops, discussions, and presentations geared to people with epilepsy and related disabilities, their family members, care givers, social workers, service coordinators, and guidance counselors.

The following sessions and workshops will be presented by neurologists from the Strong Epilepsy Center (Rochester, NY) and Strong Memorial Hospital's Department of Neurology (Rochester, NY), and the Jacobs Neurological Institute (Buffalo, NY):
