Information, Referral and IntakeAccessing information and services from a non-profit human services agency such as the Epilepsy Foundation does not have to be a difficult process. We're happy to provide you with some tips and guidelines. Epilepsy Foundation services are not just for people with epilepsy. We also serve children and adults with traumatic brain injury, stroke, and developmental disabilities/MR. Our experience has shown that people with other diagnoses (and their families) do benefit from our expertise. Why? Because the needs and issues of children and adults with other diagnoses are remarkably similar to those with epilepsy. The easiest way to find out about us is simply to call us. You'll be connected to a social worker who can describe our programs, answer your questions, and get the enrollment process started. Please call the nearest Epilepsy Foundation office during regular business hours.
Let us work with you to determine the best programs to meet your needs and the best way to enroll in them. Prior to calling, you may wish to scroll through this website and learn more about our programs and services. Some of our services require certification/eligibility from the Department of Health, from Medicaid and/or the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (OMRDD); other services do not require such eligibility. Our staff works closely with families and individuals before, during, and after any eligibility process to be sure the services they need are provided. |
