Modern treatment enables many people with epilepsy to lead normal lives. But age-old fears and prejudices continue to cause social problems that too often severely limit their participation and personal fulfillment.

Through education programs we hope to raise awareness and dispel myths about the condition. In addition, we aim to ensure members of the public are able to recognize a seizure and respond appropriately.

We are active in the local Speakers Bureau. We provide Seizure Recognition and First Aid Training. We speak out on issues of importance at local Employee and Health Fairs.
