Epilepsy Foundation Texas

The Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Texas is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 to improve the lives of the almost 100,000 adults and children with epilepsy in the 100 counties of north and southeast Texas. The Epilepsy Foundation of Southeast Texas is an affiliate of the Epilepsy Foundation, the national organization located in Landover, Maryland.

"Disability Awareness Night" at the ballgame: May 31st at 7:05pm
Come out to support the Fort Worth Cats baseball team at LaGrave Field in 
Fort Worth and help create awareness in the greater community of individuals
with disabilities. Exceptional Parent magazine and Mass Mutual are sponsoring
similar nights at ballgames around the country.

The Epilepsy Foundation Southeast Texas is a not for profit organization that helps individuals and their families living with epilepsy. Epilepsy affects people of all ages, races, and ethnic backgrounds. More than 2.5 million Americans live with epilepsy. Each year, 181,000 Americans will develop seizures and epilepsy for the first time.

Founded in 1983, the Epilepsy Foundation Southeast Texas strives to improve the lives of 100,000 adults and children, with seizure disorders, in 31 counties of southeast Texas.  In 2005 the Epilepsy Foundation assumed the territory of greater north Texas with 67 counties, to include, 133,000 individuals with seizure disorders.

The Epilepsy Foundation Southeast Texas is committed to ensuring that those affected by seizures and epilepsy live life with dignity, equality, and independence.
