Ways to Give to the EFWO

There are many ways in which you can donate to the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio. As an organization, we receive very few grants, so we must raise over 90% of our operating budget, so every little bit helps. In other words, no gift is too small.

Below are just a few ways you can give to us.

• Donate online using our secure server.  By making your donation online, 50% of your donation will support Epilepsy Foundation Western Ohio and 50% will support the national Epilepsy Foundation efforts.
  
  
• Contact our office by e-mail.
  
  
• Write us a check and mail it in. Once we've received your donation, we'll be sure to send you a receipt. Please make checks payable to:

• If you shop at the Dorothy Lane Market, you can participate in the "Good Neighbor Program" and benefit the EFWO. To get your DLM card, just sign up at the service desk, check the box for Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio, and link our ID number to your card (627). After you spend $250 up to 1% of your purchases will be rebated back to the EFWO.

Throughout the year, we host several special fund raising events, and we're continually looking for new participants and corporate sponsors. Some of the events include:

• Mardi Gras Gala
• Mud Volleyball
• Treasure Hunt Road Rally
• Walk for Epilepsy
• Golf Scramble for Epilepsy
• Wine, Jazz, Art Event

One way that ANYBODY can make a significant gift to us is through a planned gift. When most of us think of planned gifts, we think of including an organization in our last will and testament. Of course this is a great option for you to give to us, but there are many other ways you can make a planned gift including giving a gift of a life insurance policy, retirement benefits, and appreciated securities. These are just a few of the different ways you can commit to a significant gift in the future. If you're interested in these options, please contact our office, and we can provide some help to you.
