Penny Pirate Program

               The Penny Pirate Program is designed to get everyone involved; no one is too old or young and no couch cushion or night stand is safe from the Pirates.

             Over two weeks teams are established and compete against each other to collect as much change as they can.  This includes scouring all areas where there might be a bounty of spare change; bottoms of purses, car seats, closets and drawers, between cushions, inside car doors and anywhere else that spare dime or nickel may wander.  The Penny Pirate must seek out all rogue coins and increase the bounty.  When the two weeks are over, the change is counted and the winning team receives a special prize as well as recognition at the next EFMRI event. 

             Special prizes could include new sporting equipment, a pizza party or gift certificates.  These prizes depend on the teams competing and the prizes are established prior to the two week period.  Every Pirate is a winner as 100% of the proceeds go to epilepsy awareness, education and support throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
