This conference, hosted by the Institute for Patient-and Family-Centered Care, will provide opportunities to address emerging issues in patient-and family-centered care, both at the systems and individual levels. It will include presentations from hospitals, primary care, specialty ambulatory settings, community-based programs, public health and mental health agencies, patient-and family-led organizations, schools of medicine, nursing, and other health and helping professions. The conference will also showcase videos developed by health care organizations to support partnerships with patients and families and will feature a variety of formal and informal meetings, including plenary sessions, concurrent/topical breakout sessions, networking discussions, video theatre, and poster presentations.
