WebEase (Web Epilepsy, Awareness, Support and Education) is an interactive, on-line self-management program for people with epilepsy. WebEase is different from other Epilepsy websites because it does not tell you what you should do. Rather, it guides you to think about what is important to you in managing your epilepsy through taking medications, managing stress and getting a good night's sleep. WebEase is for anyone living with epilepsy and who is interested in improving their self-management skills regardless of where they are in life, or how long they have lived with epilepsy.
The goal of this Webinar is to give an overview of WebEase to people living with epilepsy or to the people who support someone living with epilepsy. We will review the benefits of the self-management and of WebEase. The Webinar will include a tour of WebEase main features, including the learning modules on medication, stress and sleep, and the personal epilepsy diary (MyLog).
In case you are unable to attend this Webinar, it will be recorded. Both the recording and the presentation slides will be available on-line for viewing and download.
"Introducing WebEase for People with Epilepsy" is part of the MEW Network Webinar Series on Epilepsy Self-Management.
