USA Network Joins Epilepsy Foundation in National Campaign to Make America Seizure Smart

October 4, 2011 – (Landover, MD) — The Epilepsy Foundation announced today a new partnership with USA Network's Characters Unite initiative to raise awareness for seizure first aid during National Epilepsy Awareness Month this November. Characters Unite is USA Network's multiplatform public affairs campaign dedicated to promoting tolerance and respect.
The Epilepsy Foundation, a national nonprofit, represents the nearly three million Americans who live with epilepsy, a condition that produces seizures. In November, the Epilepsy Foundation urges millions of Americans to "Get Seizure Smart" through an interactive quiz and campaign on seizure first aid. USA Network has agreed to air the national PSA, post the link, www.GetSeizureSmart.org, on their site and encourage seizure awareness.
