Talk About It! Open House Please attend one of the Epilepsy Foundation's Talk About It! Open House programs during the month of November, Epilepsy Awareness month. These weekely educational sessions called Talk About It! will feature informational presentations on seizures and will include a guest speaker with epilepsy who will share their story. The dates inclue: Monday, November 2, 6:00 pm, Saturday, November 14, 10:30 am, Monday, November 16, 6:00 pm and Tuesday, November 24, 12:00 pm. Taj Ma Garaj Walk-Through for Epilepsy The Taj Ma Garaj is hosting a Walk Through for Epilepsy on Saturday, December 5 from 10am- 4pm. Located at 300 South Perry St., Dayton, Porsche enthusists and car fans of all kinds will enjoy walking through the museum. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for military, children (10 & under) and seniors (65 & over). Tickets may be purchased in advance at TajforEpilepsy.kintera.orgTickets may also be purchased at the door. Take a break from your holiday shopping and benefit the Epilepsy Foundation in the process. Holiday Open House No year at the Epilepsy Foundation would be complete without the Holiday Open House, which is your chance to see old friends and make new ones who all have one thing in common....they care about and are dedicated to the Epilepsy Foundation and the work that it does. The event is completely free and almost everyone who comes agrees that it's a wonderfully fun time. For more information, please call 233-2500 or email events@ohioepilepsy.org. The Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio is a non-profit voluntary health organization that provides education, support and advocacy for people with seizure disorders and their families. The Foundation also promotes understanding of epilepsy through educational programs offered in the community to schools, organizations, professional audiences, first responders, businesses, government and the general public. Since 1974, the Epilepsy Foundation of Western Ohio has provided services free of charge to the resident of eleven westernOhiocounties to include Auglaize,Champaign,Clark, Darke, Greene,Logan, Mercer,Miami,Montgomery, Preble and Shelby. In order to accomplish this mission, the Epilepsy Foundation heavily relies on the support of special events, corporate/individual contributions and volunteer support. |
